So summer holidays is near an end. DD starts school on Wednesday, she will be going into year 4!

I really need to get my DD into a decent routine with starting back st school. Over the holidays (and admittedly before) her routine has not been set at all and her mood is definitely effected..

Can you lovelies please share your routines for your DC :)

Just looking for a bit of inspo and maybe I'm missing something that I could incorporate into a routine..

TIA

School. Sport or club. Bed at 9.
Screens in middle .

I enforce that my dc should be changed before breakfast. It motivates them to do it quickly if their stomachs are rumbling! However, if your dd makes a lot of mess /gets milk down her front then this might not be a good idea!
They have a bath or shower in the evenings, after supper, because my Dc invariably always get muddy/sticky/painty/chocolatey/sun-creamy during the day (and we don’t have time in the mornings). Then it’s no screens after bath/shower but they can read in bed as long as they want or listen to an audio book (I figure that they’ll fall asleep if they’re tired enough!). I’d stop it though if they were waking up tired.

They have a snack as soon as they get home and then it’s no food until supper.
I hope this helps!

Shower 7-730. Family tv/cuddle for 30 mins to an hour. Bed at 8.30 and reads to self for 10-15 mins before turning lamp off.

Awake 745. Breakfast straight away. Upstairs to change 815 and out of the door to talk to school 830.

Weekend goes to bed 30 mins or so later and sleeps as long as wants. Maybe till 9-930. Loves sleep.

she gets up at 7am, uniform on

I come down with 4 year old after shower and do breakfast , packed lunch

after school is activities/ training four days school week . She has a play date on other day

dinner 5.30

bed at 8pm, training evening bed at 8.30pm

weekends she has training sat morning and match on Sunday

She generally has a party/ play date/ family occasion on the sat

Sunday after match we either go visit granny ( once a month ) then just stay at home and relax for the day - maybe go for a walk / playground if not raining
