Sorry another question, re footwear for school.
My friends al do different things, so one person buys some from tesco/Asda, one will buy like the 'smartish' pair of trainers they can find by Nike/Adidas, others buy dr martens, others buy clarks/start rite
I personally buy Clarks and wouldn't look elsewhere but what do others do? And any reason why?

When kids were smaller, and growing out of shoes more quickly, it was Clarks shoes. As they got older we went for DMs as they last forever.

My son has wide feet so I have always bought Clark's, but I discovered this term that Next do wide fitting shoes, they were £15.00 cheaper than Clark's and look much nicer so I think Clark's have lost a customer here.

I don't buy supermarket shoes because my son has a long walk to and from school and they just fall apart within weeks. I do buy wellies and plimsolls from Tesco and cheap shoes for my three year old to wear to nursery as he just ruins them going in the sand pit, crawling about in mud etc.
