My almost 2.5 year old DC is constantly waking in the night itching and unable to get back to sleep, 3am get up today!
Docs have said it's eczema (I have flare ups too but don't usually need to use anything), and have prescribed low dose steroid creams which work. but as soon as I stop the creams it's itchy again and I don't want to continue to use steroid cream. I've been buying E45 anti itch cream, have tried the cooling gel but DC said it stings.
DC skin isn't flakey and you can't see any patches of eczema just lines of broken skin where they've been scratching, mostly around the stomach and top of legs.
Any advice on how to deal or should I just head back to the docs?
DC (and me) have been awful all day due to tiredness and I'm feeling really helpless.
