FTM .. Baby acne, heat rash or allergy??

Hey everyone,

I'm a first time mum and I've posted before but didn't have much response. My baby is now 7 weeks old and he has these tiny spots that some times flare up. I'm going to change his washing liquid just in case it's this. He's EBF, I've seen online babies can get rashes due to what mum is eating, anyone experienced this?? He has the rash on his face, chest, arms, ears and a little on the back of his neck. They don't look too bad atm but can be quite red at times.

My baby had very similar around 6 weeks. Probs lasted until about 8 weeks. Was on his face and neck - not arms and body though.

Was baby acne. Cleared up though after a few weeks. It looks like it to me on your little one but obviously ciuld be wrong.

Any over symptoms?

My baby had this between 6-8 weeks. It looked so sore. I read that when babies are EBF (as mine was too) at around this age they can have a rush of the mothers hormones which cause the spots. Don’t worry I am sure it will clear up soon! I used Kokoso on it and I’m not sure if it helped, but it must have been soothing on it.

No other symptoms at all. Fever is always normal, feeding normal and enough wet nappies throughout the day. Thanks girls, that's enough reassurance for me but of course I'll keep an eye on it and it did start at roughly 6 weeks tbh X
