15 month old sleep problems

My daughter has just turned 15 months and up until she turned 1 and started nursery I could put her to bed in her cot and she would fall asleep by herself (sometimes took a bit of time). She started nursery at 1 when I returned to work and was immediately I’ll with a stomach bug so any kind of sleep routine went out the window! Since this time she will only fall asleep if I rock her and wakes 5/6 or more times a night. I’m exhausted and desperate and wondered if anyone had any advice or help as to what I can do!

I am no expert but I would try doing a little less each night. So rocking her a little less and less each night so that she does more of the falling asleep bit by herself. So rock until drowsy and then less drowsy etc and then comfort her in the cot if she is upset by rubbing her back or patting her. Same in the night. Gradually phase out your help.
Do you have a partner who you can share it with?
It could also be teething - molars are pretty bad for a lot of toddlers.
And how is her napping during the day? Could she be overtired?
