Which MAM teat is better for 2 months baby? Switching from 0 to 1?

Hello mamas,
I would like some advice please.
My baby is almost 2 months now and I have been using MAM teat 0 (as I was hoping to breastfeed). Sadly I couldn't so I am now thinking should I switch to size 1or straight to size 2 ?
I feel my little one is struggling to have the milk properly and is very gassy plus lots and lots of hiccups! I looked online and some websites suggest to change the teat as it might help with the gas. But I am afraid to make it harder for her to have milk.
Any suggestions?
Thanks :)

My son is 11 weeks and I use size 2

Hi. Mine is 4 weeks and we've had a lot of success with switching to Mam bottles from TT. I didn't realise they did size 0 teats so have been using size 1. She has always suffered a lot with gas and hiccups, but gets on very well with the teat so should be fine for yours too. Hope that helps.

I would definitely say size 1, I accidentally used size 2 as they are the standard on the 9oz bottles and my little boy was gagging and choking as the flow was too fast. So had to prime size 1 teats ASAP. He has been on size 2 since 4 months (almost 5 months old now) and he is happy with them now! But still lots of dribble to start with!

Thank you so much for your replies! :)
I guess I will upgrade to size 1 then. Hopefully it will help with gas and annoying hiccups..
I have tried with only one bottle yesterday so will get more for the other bottles now.
Many thanks!!

I’m a maternity nurse and usually go up every 4/6w

but go by how baby is. If they are struggling and sucking lots /getting frustrated or taking a long time to finish a bottle then try going up one size

onv the first few feeds rhey May struggle /dribble as used to sucking hard if that makes sense but they soon get used to new flow and how fast to suck

so start off with o. Then 1 by 4/6w. 2 by 8/12w and 3 3/4mrhs

Thank you so much :)
I have switched to size 1 and so far much better than what it was. Still dribbling after 2 weeks of change but doesn't seem that she is struggling as much. I don't know if I should move to size 2 yet but for now I will wait and see.
Thanks a lot everyone!
