Quite a nice age gap I’d say, I have 2.5 years between DD and DS. DD’s communication and speech was fairly good, but she was still little enough that there wasn’t much jealousy. The 2 under 2 life wasn’t for me. They are now 2 and almost 5 and get along well most of the time (they do bicker like cat and dog on occasion but they’re really sweet together!). We also didn’t have too long to wait for DD’s funded hours which was helpful.

Perfect I would say. That’s the gap I had between my first and second, and just over three years between second and third. There was no jealousy between any of them. Well out of nappies before the next came along and the elder one was quite independent and helpful when another one came along. Now they are all in their 30s and get on brilliantly and still no jealousy. Perhaps we were just lucky!
