We were out this morning at a shopping centre, myself, DH, DD 2.5 and DD 6 months. There was a display of sports cars being shown in the car park of the shopping centre and DH is an avid motor fan so we walked around looking at the cars that were all parked up. This was 10 in the morning. As we were walking up towards one of the cars, a car started revving it's engines. It started fine and then got extremely loud, very fast in a split second. I was pushing baby in the buggy and quickly turned to push her away from the sound. It was actually louder than anything I've ever heard. Other parents with kids quickly hurried away also. DD 6 months was asleep and woke up looking dazed. I am worried that the sound could have damaged her tiny ears and also my 2 and half year old also.
