Started using infacol again - baby is 11 weeks and we used it a bit at 4 weeks for about a week.
Background: he has tongue tie but the ENT has seen him and said he shouldn't have it cut as he has good tongue movement and gaining weight. Pissed off with this but ill see how it goes for a few weeks. He is FF but makes a loud clicking noise when feeding and takes in so much air.
It is doing wonders helping him burp -he has been a terrible burper since birth.
I've noticed since the infacol I'm getting more dirty nappies. Literally after each feed. Could this just be because he is releasing the gas more? Poo looks normal. Before this he did go 1 or 2 times a day anyway but noticed its a lot more now. Seems happy when pooing
I was reluctant to start the infacol again but I'm literally out of options at the moment (upright pace feeding, burping during feeds, anti air bottles etc etc ) i may go private with the tongue tie still - but as an immediate help I've turned to this. Just wondering if anyone else noticed an increase in dirty nappies
