My newborn turned 6 weeks this week. Has anyone got the tuberculosis vaccine for their baby?
I was going to let him get the 6-in-1 vaccine but not the tuberculosis one.

Not everyone gets the TB one. Are you in a high risk area?

My DD had the BCG (I assume that’s what you mean).

It was a no brainier for me - TB is an awful illness, and on the rise in parts of London. It seemed obvious to do what I can to protect her from it.

I don't think I am. Didn't have the vaccine myself neither did my siblings. Just wondering what other people done or think about it

That is the one.
I'll research what parts of London it's on the rise in. Of course but at the same time I feel like they offer the kids so much different vaccines nowadays. We all want to protect our babies.

DD1 had it (West London) but DD2 didn't (Bucks). Different risk profiles. No ill effects for DD1 after having it - her arm didn't scar

My children weren't offered it so didn't get it. Only certain areas are given it.
