BLW question!

Hi moved from pouches to BLW for my 7mo, he’s been doing solids for about 2 weeks (although does have yogurt, mash and weetabix which I know are softer and mushier)

however he’s just gotten 2 teeth on his top (2nd poking through) and he hasn’t seemed to want much

Some meal times he throws loads around is this normal? I mean there’s a few meal times he’s nailed it only left a tiny bit or nothing but the past day or two he seems to have just thrown E loads and ate bits

for example, I give toast fingers with PB on sometimes and usually he eats them but today he had half of one and didn’t want anymore

he’s not crying or anything but just wondering is it normal sometimes they just don’t want it x

Hello! Yes totally normal don't worry. Weaning is a long process and there are ups and downs. Just keep offering a good variety of foods 😊

Throwing is what kids do! You'll know if he's hungry. Just offer plenty of variety e.g. 2 toast fingers, 4 cut up blueberries, 2 slices of banana. They sometimes get bored of eating just one slice of toast but you can put a few different toppings on like jam, nut butters, marmalade, crushed fruits

Very normal. My 6mo isn't interested at all in weaning yet but my older DC was happy to scoff and try anything at 6mo. A lot of it ended on the floor but our two dogs enjoyed it!
