Baby has been soo grizzly the last few days. Does this look like teeth coming through? He's only 11 weeks old so I'm thinking it's way too early?

I thought the same when mine was that age, she’s 1 now and still not a single tooth 😂. I think with her it was her teeth moving around in the gum as I noticed the actual gum was changing shape so maybe it’s that. Her gums now look like there are teeth just under the surface.

It does look raised but their teeth mess about for quite a long time under the gum before they really start to come through. When it’s properly on its way the gum will go slightly grey and glisten a bit more and then gradually a tiny hole will come in it through which you’ll see the tooth coming up. Also, they tend to get their bottom middle teeth first and that lump looks more off to the side.

It could be teeth my DD had all of them well before she was 1 😅

I got my first tooth at 12 weeks.

Feel it with the tip of your finger. If it's hard beneath the gum then maybe it's a tooth. You can never really tell just from looking.

(It's never too early - just ahead of the norm)
