Not wanting to go out

Does anyone else’s children never want to go out and just want to stay home? Do you bother to encourage them out or not? I don’t like going out with children that clearly don’t want to 😒

Yep, DS (2.5) is like this sometimes. I won't always push it for e.g. the park or playground but always insist when it's classes/ activities/ play dates etc.
To be fair, with the more "exciting things" he's much happier to go and any protests are short lived.

If we've had a quiet indoor day and I want him to go out the next day but he's not keen, I might bribe with a small treat
