Mine seems to spend most of his time either in my arms or in the moses basket during the day. Just wondered where others spent theirs?...

IIRC that's exactly where ds spent his time, with the addition of my Mum's arms - she did a lot of pacing with him for me.

Also I think by this age he may have started to spend a bit of time under the baby gym, but tbh i may be forgetting exactly when this started. It was a big hit though.

Mine lo is 11 weeks today and spends his days in his chair (baby one!), 2 naps in his crib and in my arms for cuddles during b/f + f/f's.

MP - is that a bouncy chair? DS will only sit in it for a little while. Just feel that my day is full of picking him up and down!

Hi it's this chair

It goes flat so lo can sleep and has a newborn insert -not shown.

It folds up great and has a carry bag so is protected when it goes in our yucky car!

We found that his bouncy chair was to upright for him adn he always ended up slumped.

Carry cot in the living room for naps during the day, just started spending time under the baby gym or in my arms being cuddled/fed

with ds is was sling or breast, sometimes next to em if I was asleep too

With my ds (9 weeks) I constantly have to keep moving him because he cries if he stays in any place too long. He will only play under his play gym for around 10 minutes before he starts to cry although I give it a try 3 or 4 times a day. He does go down in his moses basket for a sleep usually twice a day for around 2 hours (can be restrictive if I want to go out as I don't like disturbing him once he is asleep.) I try him in his boucy chair if I need to get on with things like getting dressed in the morning or making lunch but I find too that he just ends up slumped and looking uncomfortale. He used to love kicking on his changing mat naked but not so much recently. He also likes being carried around on my shoulder so he can see what's going on. He does not like lying in my arms!!
