Do i need to move bedtime ..?

Baby boy - 10 weeks has a current bed time of 9pm - ish. Bath bottle cuddles from 8.

He sleeps until 2 or 3, wakes for a feed then sleeps until 7/8 so good stretches of sleep. He then has a bottle then nap about 9 until 11/12 so a long morning nap. It's his longest nap of the day by far.

Does this sound normal/OK? Or do I need to move bedtime a bit earlier maybe...?

I've just got this routine in place and the long stretches at night are total bliss but im worried the long nap in the morning is because he isn't getting long enough at night.. or is this pretty normal?

I know it will all go to shit when the 4 month sleep regression hits but just wondering if anyone else has their little ones take a nap like that...?

It's perfectly normal imo. Babies sleep when they are tired. Sleep training is around 4 - 6 months, so before that be led by your baby.

That's great for a 10 week old and it sounds like it's working well for you both. The recommended hours sleep per day in within 24 hours so doesn't have to be all at night.

Thabk you both. Yeah seems to be a good little routine we have going was just worried the large morning nap may have meant I was doing something wrong with bedtime but thanks for your reassurance :) he is definitely getting the reocmmended per day just prefers it at night/early morning rather than large naps in the day
No complaints from me for now!

My 9 month old still has a longer nap about 2 to 2.5 hours after she's slept all night! I find it strange, as between say 10am and 7.30pm she will then only (typically) have a 30min nap.

I say a longer nap...sometimes it's 30mins, sometimes it's slightly longer.

If bedtime and first wake time work for you, stick with your current times you can alter at a later date if you find baby gets tired earlier etc (we had similar at the same age, 9pm ish bed time, now its about 7.45)
