tots bots - velcro or nippa?

Have just taken the plunge and started using reusables for ds3. Have bought a trial tots bots velcro. Really impressed with it, no leaks. The only thing I found was that the elestic dug in his back and left a nasty red mark. If I fastened it any looser though the front drooped down. Can anyone tell me, are the nippa version more elasticy round the front. I'm just wondering if I might get a better fit without chopping the poor lad in half. Love the nappies though, should have done this ages ago!

Well done you!!! Personally I use non velcro with a nappy nippa. Wanted to cut down on the bulk as the velco adds quite a bit. The fit using the nippa is GREAT and never ever had any mishaps or dismemberments. If causing big problems either sell as near new and buy some non velcro OR (and hope this doesn't come back to bite me) unpick the velcro and use the nippa instead. Good luck.

nippa....there is the same amount of elastic, but you can make the fit round the legs snug by pulling the tabs south a bit, while leaving the waist relatively loose, if that's what you want.

Thanks for your messages. I have just received my order for a rainbow bots nippa nappy this morning. Love it! Fits him much better and no nasty red marks. I am now a true cloth nappy convert. Worked out I have saved on over 100 disposables in four weeks. It is strangly addictive though, I am getting quite excited about the prospect of ordering some more to complete my collection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
