Bulk making formula

Hi,

NHS website says you can pre make formula and store in fridge for 24 hours if can't make fresh.

I have seen a formula pitcher online that mixes up to 32 oz rather than making up individual bottles.

Could you use a sterilised Pyrex jug and sterilised spoon to make up a few bottles with the correct boiled cooled water and powder and then Pour into individual bottles to store in the fridge? Or a sterilised jug with a lid and keep on fridge and pour into sterilised bottles when ready to heat?

Making it in one jug and splitting the mixture seems an easier option than making 4/5 individual bottles. Just wondering if there's a reason why this shouldn't be done as seems common in the USA but I know their rules differ.

Both options sound reasonable, I used to just fill up bottles with closed lids. Jug would have to have a tight fit secure lid, otherwise will get contaminated by bacteria in the fridge.
