5 month old sleep issues

Hi Folks,
First time Mum and first post here. Our 5 month old little girl is very unsettled at night but only after a certain time. She still feeds every 3 hours or so. And will sleep reasonably from 7ish until 2ish with one to two feeds. After this she begins rolling from side to side violently, arching her back, twisting her head side to side, straining and generally seems in discomfort but she is asleep! She does eventually wake but not crying, it's as if the movement wakes her. She will do this almost constantly until 5:30 when she wakes for the day. This has been going on for two months now, I'm exhausted! Does anyone have any experience of this or advice? The GP seems to think it's just her being a baby! She is still in a next to me in our room, I really can't continue to be this exhausted I'm useless as a Mum!

Could it be trapped wind? Have you tried infacol with the feed, see if that makes a difference?

Has the temp in the room changed at that part of night, it normally gets colder?

Hi Butteryflakycrust83,
Think the temperature is ok, we have a thermometer in the room. Wind was also in my thoughts, tried infacol, gripe water - currently on conlonsynth granules to see if they are any help but nothing has worked so far! Tried different bottle teats, we also pace feed.

Hi I came across this whilst looking for some answers for my 5 month olds night sleep. This is basically my little girl. Like clockwork every night for the past 2 months. Have you managed to sort her sleep? I really feel like I have tried everything - stretching wake windows cutting maps etc. perhaps you doing the cure 😂
