Anyone else’s child a nightmare with drinking?
honestly I have to constantly remind her to drink and when she does it’s a tiny little sip. So I need to stand next to her and hold a cup to get her to drink and say more more more until she drinks a decent amount.
shes potty training and only done 2 wees today and 2 poos. One was ok colour and the other was quite dark. She must be holding it In too because I’ve gone back over what she drank (3oz with breakfast, 3/4 oz over the morning until lunch yet her early afternoon wee was the dark one? Not sure how much she had at lunch. Then she napped and had at least 8oz in the afternoon and one lollipop, then 5oz of milk before bed. Yet she still hadn’t wee’d.
HV are useless she doesn’t have one because she’s over 1 in our area. Her nursery have said they have to remind her.
we give her weak sugar free squash too to entice her, sometimes she complains and says she wants plain water, so can’t win so now she has both out. Fun water bottles, always in reach, different cups,
tomorrow I’m going to do stickers for every cup of water she finishes but this is ridiculous.
yesterday she was fine but she has days like this where she is an utter nightmare
