Worried about 11 month old development

Hi, I'm a FTM to 11 month old dd. I have become a bit worried about her social development. Physically she is developing well - cruising, crawling, climbing and can stand unaided.

It's other things that are concerning me but not sure if I'm worrying unnecessarily. DD doesn't really respond to her name, isn't clapping and has only just started what I think is waving. Dd is also not really interested in playing games with me. She has never been interested in peek a boo and won't sit still to read a book. She does enjoy building towers with me and likes some of her toys. Dd does babble and says mama and dad. Dd is very sociable, crawls excitedly to us and her grandparents and reaches to be picked up. Dd is a good eater and goes to nursery 2 days per week and loves it.

I'm just worried because everything I've read says she should be responding to her name by 12 months (3 weeks away). We don't have a 12 month old HV check in our area and I'm not sure whether to broach my concerns with GP. I am worried she could have autism or something

Sounds perfectly normal to me. She's 11 months old, it's a bit early to be looking at autism diagnosis tbh.

I was overly worried about my son's development as a baby/toddler. Turns out he's absolutely fine but was just interested in doing the things he liked doing and wasn't so interested in walking and talking.

If she's not responding to her name I would just keep a watch out for potential hearing problems, see if there are other words/commands she doesn't respond to.

I would bring her for a hearing check.

there must be some way of seeing a health visitor or public health nurse though at other times outside of the schedule if you are worried.

Sounds fine to me but if you're really worried speak to DD key worker at the nursery. They should have all development targets and observations in a file for your child.
