So DD is home with me 2 days a week, plus the weekend. Normally we do lots of toddler groups/football and will be starting ballet classes in September to keep her busy. I love planning days out/park trips etc. But when we're home I run out of ideas! I feel like she's outgrowing the toys she's got, but I've got no clue what to buy her next. We've got crafts, a doctor set and a racetrack, as well as some more general toys and books. I'm looking for ideas on what to do with her (and DD2 - 1yo) at home to vary things up, and also potentially prep her for school. Any ideas?

Have a look at Orchard Games.
Regular trip to the library.
If you have a garden, get her to help gardening.
Baking?

Crafting/stamping kits
Sticky back plastic for easy collages - good for your little one to get involved in too
Small world play - we used happy land figures and a box for ages before moving to Playmobil
Car, road mat, garage
Magnatiles
Coffee maker for our toy kitchen has been a huge hit - I think I must model drinking a lot of coffee
Orchard games as mentioned by PP or any puzzle
I let DD choose a magazine every so often and that often keeps up entertained for days
We usually go the library once a week and I usually do a look round charity shops regularly for new toys and books.
