So what time does everyone think is acceptable for your children to be playing outside in a morning?? My lovely neighbour seems to think 7:50 am is OK for her children to be outside screaming and shouting!!! Please tell me am I being horrible for thinking this is out of order and she should have respect for her neighbours!!!! Confused

on a weekday I’d say anything from 8 is ok-
obviously not majorly screaming but I don’t think 8, giving that most people would be getting ready for work or up with kids anyway, is that early.

8 weekday, 9 weekend, but if they’re if they’re old enough to be told to keep a lid on shouting and shrieking she should tell them, they can have fun without screeching bloody murder.

9am weekdays or 10am at the weekend.

my neighbours deserve some peace and quiet at the weekends.

we have a retired guy a couple of doors from us and during the week you never hear him however at the weekend he is always out banging, drilling etc at any time from 8am, it’s so bloody rude.
