Newborn only sucks little finger

Hi all

Does anyone have any recommendations for dummy's for a newborn who is obsessed with finger sucking? I've tried mam and Tommy
Tippee but he rejects them, starts spitting out and getting into hysterics but as soon as I give my little finger he sucks in it furiously.

It's really difficult because I have a 5 year old too I can't have my finger stuck in his mouth while carrying him every awakening moment.

Any one have a finger sucker with a dummy success and if so which brand please.

Thanks

My little one is the same.. I tried the cherry soothers and had a little bit more luck but not much.

Just about to try the NUK ones. My friend swears by them. Changed his bottles to these recently and they improved feeding so much so fingers crossed

Hi @Nat888 thanks for getting back to me I ordered about three different brands last night not those ones though will try the others if no luck then will order these too I've spent a fortune. Did your LO have problems accepting the bottle? I am also struggling to get him to take a bottle and just ordered the Nuk one with a similar teat after reading reviews on here

He did yeah. I've spent a bloody fortune on bottles - mams Dr browns and Tommy tippee he all struggled with. The nuk ones he is absolutely fine with

Yea tried this morning. He seemed to like it much better than the others I've tried - used it to get to sleep then had it in for about an hour while asleep. Spat it out after that but stayed asleep.. longest he has had one though so looking positive! Let me know how you get on woth yours later. Fingers crossed the same for you and your little one :)

Have you tried the mam comfort 0-2 month ones? They were the only ones my LG could take at first.
