Switching from formula to cows milk

My daughter is about to turn one within the next few weeks so we’re thinking about the transition from formula to cows milk. Is this transition something that needs to happen gradually or do we just completely switch once she turns one? Tia

Depends on baby's acceptance of it really. I BF and then switched, but he had cow's milk in his porridge and i was actually giving him some to drink in a cup in addition to his BM. On his birthday I gave him milk in a cup instead of a feed and there was no fuss whatsoever. Never looked back.

When the last carton of formula ran out, we just swapped directly to cows milk. It was very simple.

You can do either, whatever works best for your baby. Either do a mix of formula and cow's milk, gradually lowering the amount of formula and upping the cow's milk, but honestly I couldn't be arsed doing that and we just went straight to cow's milk!

He always had his milk in a straw cup as well rather than his bottle so he wasn't expecting formula in a bottle but getting cow's
