Re-Usable wipes

I have some questions if that's okay? Smile I've bought some soft flannels instead of the branded re-usable wipes just to try first.

  1. When used to clean a bum, how do you wash them?
  2. Do you put them in the washing machine with everything else or do you put them in on their own?
  3. When out and about, how do you store clean/dirty ones?

Thankyou in advance Smile

At home I rinsed them off in the toilet and then added to nappy bucket and washed with nappies.
If not using nappies I'd rinse the poo off in toilet and then store them in a nappy bin or wet bag until ready to wash. Do a rinse/pre wash just wipes and then add towels for a 60 degree wash.

Out and about I just popped them in a wet bag until home.

I also took clean dry ones out with me and just wet them as needed with tap or water bottle.

Have a look at cheeky wipes website. Lots of info!

If using reusable nappies just put them in the bucket with them. Otherwise, I had an old celebrations tub which I put them in, then washed when I ran out. Washed at 40 degrees by themselves (with nappies too I did pre washing too).

I have loads of mesh bags and wet bags basically and find I have enough to wash every other day with nappies and towels

I use laundry sanitiser too
