Just out of curiosity is it's possible to overfeed a baby?

Yes, if you're using a bottle. If you're feeding directly from the breast then no. If using a bottle, you can try pace feeding, to make sure your baby isn't getting more than they need.

However, if your baby has reflux, they may take more milk than they need, to soothe the pain, and then be very upset and spit up after.

Yes more so if you formula feed. I think I was over feeding my son a little bit and he was getting massive so we reduced it a bit. I don't know about breast feeding so much. People say no but I guess it's possible if they were on the boob all day?

Yes with formula- no with breast. Think it's pretty rare with formula tho.

In response to PP, im pretty sure you can't over feed even if stuck to the boob all day as your supply regulates based on what the baby needs ! Not 100% tho.

If there anything I should look out for to make sure I'm not over feeding him he just seems so hungry I'm following all his ques but it just seems so much I think I'm just doubting myself as I'm a first time mum and want to do it right.

I think I read no more than 32oz in a day for formula!
