Something to worry about?

FTM so feel free to laugh and tell me I’m being ridiculous!

My baby first rolled over just before she turned 5 months. She did it a lot for a week or so, but has never done it again! This was back to front, she’s never done front to back.

Is it something to worry about when they stop doing a skill they had previously done well?

I should add that she sits unsupported and has done since a little over 5 months and she does attempt to crawl when on her tummy (and gets incredibly annoyed that she can’t lol).

I think they just aren't bothered sometimes, the novelty wears off!

Agreed with PP. Also, rolling front to back often comes later. (The weeks during which they can roll onto their fronts, get stuck, and freak themselves out are pure agony, especially at 1am!)

I don’t think this is cause for concern at all, but my approach with worries like this was always to jot it down on a running list in my phone, to bring up at my DC’s next routine Well Baby visit at the GP clinic.

Thanks both! I should have said that she’s 6 months and 1 week old at the moment!
