Hi everyone!
Due to go on a plane next week (only 2 hours to Spain). I am more than nervous!
My little girl is 13 months, not quite walking but trying. Hates being held, wants to go off and do her own thing ALL the time.

Please give me ideas on how to keep her entertained!!

Thanks :)

My DS first plane ride was at 15m old, 2.5h.
I was prepared for everything ok. And I mean everything. A disaster. A tornado. And I was alone.
I had new toys, lots of snacks, extra clothes, small plastic bag just in case he’s sick or something, I downloaded games on my phone which normally is No No.
In reality just after take off he fell asleep and slept all the way through, woke up 20 minutes before landing. And it happened both ways.

I couldn’t believe my luck.
Fingers crossed for you, hopefully it’s gonna be easy flight!

We did a 2.5 hour plane trip with our 18 month old. This child is infamous for hating sitting still so we did not know how it would go. Admittedly the first half an hour was a struggle but he soon got used to it and was very good otherwise.

Tips: Small busy toys. My son had a 'lacing cheese' (Google it) and a buckle that he could clip and unclip. We also brought some books and put some games on the iPad that just involved him poking the screen (one made fireworks and one made a ladybird fly across the screen etc)

Also: food. Bring as many snacks as you can. He was totally still whilst he was eating.

All in all in can't have been that bad as we're going away again in September :D

Good luck!

We took our 12 month old in June. On the way out he was a dream. Footered with some toys mainly suction fidget spinners, had some lunch and napped for 50 mins. On the way back it was hell on earth. He was tiered and wanted rocked but the seatbelt sign was on so we couldn't get up. He wouldn't sit still. Nothing we did helped....just be prepared for it all to go pear shaped.
