6 months post partum - why am I so hormonal?!

I’ve sailed through the first 6 months of giving birth to my daughter with no ups or downs to speak of (except the baby blues on day 3 where I cried at everything!) but the last 2/3 days I’ve been feeling so hormonal and agitated. I was in tears yesterday because I slept in until 8am and knocked my daughters routine out of whack (this happens all the time so I don’t know why it got to me so much!) which put me in a bad mood all day, and today I’ve had an argument with my husband and It left me in tears again?! My little emotional outbursts don’t last long, but I do feel very hormonal! Is it common to have a hormone rush 6m postpartum? My daughter is 7 months in a few days and I’m still breastfeeding so no period yet 🤷‍♀️

It sounds perfectly normal to me - my DD is now 2yo and I still get like that!

If she is 6 months old and has just started weaning, I guess there's a chance it could be linked to your body adjusting how much milk is needed and when?
