Help! Is this chicken pox?

Hi there, just wondering if anyone more experienced could help me identify these spots that keep appearing on my 20 month old. He was sent home from nursery last weds as they predicted chicken pox but the spots that they were worried about have simply faded away, not blistered. He is fine otherwise. Bit of a snotty nose this morning. They don’t seem to be bothering him…I have searched my house very carefully for fleas and bed bugs (just moved in) and can’t see any. Also I have none of these spots…Thanks for your help 😊

My dad has just had chickenpox and I think that what your child has is is a mild case of it. My understanding is you can get a mild dose but it won’t give full immunity so you might get it again. If that’s a big concern then look Into the vaccination which is something I wish I had done.

Looks like a milder case of CP. My neice had them like that. But be aware my neice got it again when she was 12. She was really poorly the second time.

Agree it looks poxy to me too. My son had it mild and most spots never blistered, just faded.
