They're ok... easy birth to potty settings, I like the inserts, and I like them not being velcro (the downside of bumgenius imo)

They do get wing droop when the child walks though which is the main downside for me.

preggersagain · 19/01/2008 11:53

ooh i loved my wonderoos- but not sure whether i'd consider them as a btp- we just used them from 8 ish months plus- easy to use and wash and dry quickly! will be getting some more for the dt's as they get bigger!

curlywurlycremeegg · 19/01/2008 14:18

preggersagain, you really need to change your name to let everyone know about your new little people I have used Wonderoos as a birth to potty but have largeish babies (smallest was 8lb 10oz). I like them, a good workhorse of a nappy, but as all of mine have peed for England I always use the hemp insert, not the microfibre ones.

ohh preggers, just looked at your photos, sooooo cute

lailasmum · 19/01/2008 14:21

quite nice. Would say the fit is on the wide side and leg holes are not suitable for skinnies really until they are a few months old.Prefer fuzzi bunz. Also would not expect them to fit up potty training if you had a super tall child.

FlameNFurter · 19/01/2008 14:50

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! Teeny babies!!!

preggersagain · 19/01/2008 14:53

aren't they just

Still too small for the bloody expensive super cute swaddlebees though!!

Nappyzone · 19/01/2008 17:15

awwwwwwwwwwwwww they are soooo cute!!!

Wonderoos - not my favourite btp not being a popper fan but they wash well and still look spanking! They look a bit bunchy imho on a tiny but as per previous posters once mine went on the middle to full size setting they looked better, never tried em on mine as a newborn.....

Dont have a wing droop problem with mine but will see how we go now hes almost mobile - he only took his first faltering steps yesterday yay!!!

Maveta · 20/01/2008 07:59

congrats preggersagain! didn´t know you´d had your babies already!

and congrats in first steps nappyzone!

I have used wonderoos since ds was about 4 months old? maybe? and I really liked them as a small nappy, I find them a bit bulky right now as he needs more than 1 small insert but small and big together are a bit unwieldy and more than required and they´re getting a bit tight (he´s 8mo) so he´d better start crawling and hence stretching out soon or they won´t fit

Overall I´d recommend them if you think you´ll prefer poppers to velcro although I think given the choice again I´d personally go for bumgenuis over wonderoos.

haven´t noticed wing droop but he´s not walking yet.

Nataz26 · 20/01/2008 10:14

DD is coming up to 8mo so btp not a problem. Am really tempted with the bumgenious, though. But how do you fasten them at the back - sounds like a challenge.

Preggers your babies are soooooooooooo cute!!!!

lailasmum · 20/01/2008 12:58

I don't think the quality of bumgenious is that great. The velcro wears really badly. Why not try a medium or large fuzzi. The Med fuzzi still fitted my daughter on her 2nd birthday.

Nappyzone · 20/01/2008 13:01

What do you mean fasten at the back? They fasten at the front like a sposie?

The velcro issues are supposed to be sorted now and much improved - i have the latest latest v2 and they are wearing well compared to my earlier one but then only time will tell.

Nappyzone · 20/01/2008 13:02

My medium fuzzis still fit me ds and hes 14 months. I think they will see him through to be honest. Variety is the spice of life so id try a mix - fuzzis are on sale in some places - flame may have some left as they are bringing out a new version but i have sold all mine now.

Nataz26 · 20/01/2008 13:14

Sos I meant the weeness ones fastening at the back! oops... (diff thread!)

nappyzone are the v2 on your site the ones you got? Think a mixture of them and fuzzis be good. Looked at fuzzis before dd was born but they got a bit of bad press so opted for fluffles - big mistake, counldnt get any of the clothes to fit. They were so cute and super soft though. Think a pocket would be better now, took too long getting all the bits together in the right place. Esp when she gets moving.

Are the new fuzzis that diff?

SOrry for keep bombarding you with questions - u should charge lol!

OP posts:
Nappyzone · 20/01/2008 13:23

yes they are the batch i been using, new fuzzis arent here yet - pockets can be quite fickle for some people but others they work great - i find more have success with bg than any other pocket and thats not just because i sell them but then i have great success with heinys and drybees to and soooooo love fuzzis. Your best to try a few. Once you know pockets suit you you can experiment more withthose lovely patterns - if that floats your boat! It helps if they look nice and not leak though! .

Nappyzone · 20/01/2008 13:47

Greenkids anytimes (the plain ones) are extremely reliable also with the bamboo insert and also birth to potty - just thought i should add that to cinfuse you further... if you find any fuzzis stillon sale will you post where please .....

Nataz26 · 20/01/2008 13:50

Sure thing.

Just read an old thread and now looking at mommys touch and drybess... oh the choice, think I just get a few of each tht way I dont have to make any decisions lol!!!

Nataz26 · 20/01/2008 14:16

Kittykins and babykind have a few fuzzis left - not many but you might touch lucky.

Nappyzone · 20/01/2008 14:29

It was a nice navy one ! i also cant find a baby blue heiny so im thinking they have chucked that too but only realised this one as my dirty bag only had 2 in it ????

Nataz26 · 20/01/2008 14:32

how cheap were they going for, was gonna get one from bk to try?

OP posts:
Nappyzone · 20/01/2008 14:36

12 minus 25% but kk had them for 7 so im hoping somewhere else will too...

Nataz26 · 20/01/2008 14:40

KK wasnt with inserts - think thats why bk was a bit more money

Cant find them cheaper than 9 on other sites.
