Mottled Skin

Do some babies just mottle easier than others? My little girl is 10 weeks and always has mottled skin whenever she is in short sleeves/legs even when it’s not particularly cold. I’ve seen other babies her age wearing much less and have no mottling! It goes away when she’s covered up/it’s really warm indoors.

I'm not sure why but my 6 week old is exactly the same. Not even when it's particularly cold it seems

she’s 6months now and still the same! We had a hospital trip a few weeks ago and I mentioned it to the consultant who said it’s normal in fair skinned babies and they see it all the time. Apparently as long as you can press into the skin on the chest and the colour returns when you take your hand off, it’s fine x
