Baby now 4 months old. Easiest way of get naps in is straight after bottle.

First bottle after waking is about 5.00 am but doesn't sleep after it from being asleep during night, next bottle round 8.15am will sleep straight after bottle but only if contact napping, usual sleeps 1 to 1.5 hrs, next bottle 11.45, again will sleep contact napping only. Problem is now the next bottle at about 3.15, won't sleep after it, I get so frustrated cus I then put her in pram and rock her or go for walk, still won't sleep, I desperately try to get her to sleep at this time but won't work, time passes and I desperately want her to even have a short sleep, don't want her to sleep after 5pm as then come her feed at 7pm same thing will happen and she won't go over to sleep after bottle

Sorry for long message

Anyone else similar, sleeps after bottle but suddenly won't after later bottles in the day, usually awake windows of 2hours between naps

I think the issue is probably wake windows rather than the bottle - try tweaking those.

In what way? Longer or shorter

No idea! At that age, DD1 was managing 2 hours, but DD2 is 4m now and can only manage 1.5, so it really depends.
