Mines doesn’t… formula fed and wakes 2 times for a feed through the night.

My 7 month old used too, 9 till 6.30. Then cut 2 teeth about a month ago and now wakes at 4.30 for feed.. hes formula fed too.

Yes, thank heavens! We sleep trained at 5 months using the Ferber approach. Breastfed, but had a last feed at 7pm-ish and no other feed until 5am-ish at 9 months. DH would go in to settle him any other time DC woke up, so DC decided it wasn’t worth it.

My little one has slept through the night every night since 6 weeks and doesn’t even get up early 🙈 like I have never once in that time seen him when it’s dark, ever. It’s bizarre almost! But I am very very lucky. I know most babies don’t do that and 9 months is still young

A handful of times - each time I have been concerned she is dead! Also up 1-2 a night for a feed, formula fed- however is only getting 90ml to try and limit what she is getting during the night and during the day she eats/drinks plenty.

Neither of mine slept through at 9 months. What was probably 21 months and youngest was 14 months.

My bottle fed child started sleeping through at 2 months, and stopped at 4 months, started again aged 3 and stopped at age 4, and since then n(she's 5) it's about 50-50.

DS only started sleeping through at 14 months. Night wakings got progressively less over time, so at 9 months he was on 1 or 2 wakings a night.

Noooooo! And we tried everything. He does at 12 months though.

Rose2108 · 26/07/2022 12:59

For my 8m, it's hit and miss. I would say 70% of the time he will sleep 7-5.30, and the rest of the time it can be any kind of chaos.

You could try reducing the feeds by 30ml every few nights, or even offering some water instead. Hope you get some decent rest soon x

Both of mine did reliably. DC1 started sleeping through at 10 weeks 7-6:30, but with a late feed before I went to bed at 11ish until about 7 months old. He was formula fed. DC2 started sleeping through around 7 months from 7 until 6/6:30. She was breast fed and woke up for a feed twice a night until she started eating a fair amount of solids in the daytime, which was at roughly 7 months. I know I was lucky.

7 month old 6pm - 4am for milk then back to bed till 7-8. How do people get a baby to stay up till 7,8,9 pm as mine is shattered by 5pm .

Allegra82 · 26/07/2022 13:17

My baby is 9 months. At the moment he is waking once per night for a bottle. As long as he settles after the feed (which can be hit and miss) it doesn’t really bother or affect me. He has however gone weeks where he slept through every night 🤷‍♀️

allboysherebutme · 26/07/2022 15:50

Yes both mine slept 12 hours. Gave them their supper early 5. Then about an hour before bed a farleys rusk or half a weetabix. Then feed at bedtime. X
