Preschool is over for summer and I'm stuck for ideas that they can both enjoy.

Maybe a zoo pass but not sure we can afford it at the moment...may be month worth spent though!

Play centres are ok, but 10mo is crawling and 4yo will be running off everywhere which is ok for so long but I don't know what we can do that they would both like?

Thinning of a nature walk while baby naps in the buggy?.so that's about 2 and a half days I've got sorted 🙈😂

When mine we similar ages we had annual zoo passes (baby was free). But we lived close to the zoo and would go there once or twice a week with a picnic. Often we wouldn't even look at the animals, we'd just use the playground. And most of my friends had membership too so we'd meet there and the dc would run around together

Also, do you have friends with dc who are similar ages? playdates/meeting at the park/etc works well if the older children can somewhat entertain eachother.

Have a look for free events of fb. Local libraries tend to have things on, but so do various council run places. Sometimes shopping centres will have family events like free facepainting or mini golf. Church fetes.

Local parks
Picnics here there and everywhere
Arboretums - some have lovely play areas, den making etc
National Trust/Cadw
Beach
Lido (might need an extra adult)
Walk in the woods
Find a stream to paddle in
Make dens with blankets
Messy play in the garden
Bubbles and music
Painting and crafts - try Pinterest or follow your child's interests
Make play dough - the imagination tree website has the best recipe.
Baking or jelly making
Make your own ice cream (Google ice cream in a bag - kids will love it)
Soft play
Museums?
Look on FB for free things, loads of kids eat free or £1 around.
Baby cinema or theatre?
