advise on baby

Hello, my baby boy is 5 months old he is teething very bad, i have tried calpol , ibuprofen, teething powder and the gel nothing seems to work and we have now had 4 sleepless nights where he is in so much pain and pulls on his ears as well, does anyone have any advise please?

Oh bless him! What gel are you using? I found the teetha sachets really good for DS but your little one sounds like they're struggling bless them.

I've seen time and time again people rave about anbesol gel apparently it's really good.

Have you tried anbesol? That sometimes soothes my lo.

It sounds silly, but I’d take him to the doctors to check for an ear infection too (my baby always pulls his ears when he’s teething which makes it tricky to spot an infection!).

i have not tried that gel no , where would i get it as today i was in boots and there was not anything for teething only bonjela and the powder, i did not know that could be an ear infection.

My baby was the same and it was an ear infection!

Pulling on the ear is a sign of an ear infection in babies!

Definitely get him checked for an ear infection. But teething wise, ask at a pharmacy for anbesol liquid (NOT the gel).. the liquid is so much better.
