When to expect first pp period?

Hi guys. I'm an ftm, had my baby 8 weeks ago. I initially started combo feeding, occasionally pumping too, but this lasted less than 2 weeks.from then on I've exclusively formula fed. No sign of my period yet. No chance I could be pregnant btw. We've had sex twice in this time and used a condom on both occasions.

I didn't get my first period until about 3 months after I stopped BF. Don't panic, I'm sure it will appear at some point! Mine was fine, a bit heavier than usual. I was a bit irregular the first few months but it's settled now.

I was around 6ish weeks PP and was formula feeding

I got mine after 3 months. Really unexpected because I was breastfeeding and my doctor told me not to worry about contraception because breastfeeding is a form of contraception on its own!

With bottle feeding I had mine at 6 weeks both times. Just be watered your first period after having a baby is often horrendous really heavy op, totally normal as there's a big lining to get rid of so be prepared 😃😃 I'm sure yours will be along soon xx

Hi I had a baby in February and it was 11 weeks until I had my first period. I formula fed from the start. As someone else said it was horrendous! I had to wear a super plus tampon and a pad at the same time!! Had to change the tampon every hour as well! Hope yours is not as bad. X

I got mine 7 months after baby was born.

6 weeks after I gave birth and exclusive breastfed 😒

8 weeks exactly - similar situation to you, OP in terms of feeding xx

Mine was 12 weeks postpartum, my friend’s was 5 weeks. Both of us formula fed from the start, so I think it varies massively from person to person. I’ve had 2 periods now since and they’ve both been extremely heavy flow but not lasting as long as my periods did pre-pregnancy
