How do you get your kid to take Healthy Start drops?

My daughter has started refusing milk with healthy start vitamin drops. I don’t think she likes the banana flavour (although I think the flavour has always been there).

Has anyone got any tips for getting small kids to take them? I was thinking of putting them in her pasta but that might taste really gross.

I put them in my daughter's water and she's never seemed to notice. You could try adding to yoghurt or porridge?

Yes those are better options, thanks.

If she's eating a balanced diet she doesn't need the drops. Problem solved.

Mine never liked drops so I never bothered giving them, just fed a decent diet.

How old is she? DD has gummy vitamins and she reminds us every morning about them Grin

Also everyone should be taking vitamin D at the very least, no matter how good and balanced your diet.

I had the same trouble, we now make ‘potions’ so frame it as a fun thing adding the drops to a cup, add small amount of water, stir it up then

Sorry posted too soon…give it it a calpol syringe. Really didn’t think my 2 year old would go for it but he loves ‘making potions!’

In the winter, yes, but not in summer if she spends a reasonable time playing outside.
