I have COVID, DD also unwell. Presuming COVID too. Not doing a test.

Dd is 15 weeks.

DD had a temp Sunday, but it subsided by about 11pm. SHe’s not had a temp all day today (Monday) however this evening she got a temp at about 7pm. So we gave Calpol.

she started to get a temp again so we gave some Neurofen.

DH is sleeping downstairs with DD as it’s much cooler down there & so I can get some rest as feeling rotten.

should I set an alarm to wake up to go and check DD temperature? Or shall I just leave her??? Will she wake if she gets a temperature?? Or is it best to go and check her if she doesn’t wake??

I'd definitely set an alarm to check /some alarms throughout the night, just because she's still so little. In my experience they often sleep through fevers.

Hope you all feel better soon Flowers

I would. I had covid 2 weeks ago DD 6 months I assume got it too only symptom though seemed to be a temperature and it was worse at night. Subsided after 3 days I kept her topped up with calpol and neurofen through the night.

As you are meant to be getting rest and your DH is sleeping in other room with your DD, could he not set alarm to check temp and give meds if/as necessary?
