Clothes for a 4 month old in 40 degree heat

Off to turkey next month and with this heatwave I've reasoned I have no idea how to dress my 4 month old.

What's the best wardrobe to have? It feels weird to me to not put on a vest to catch any nappy explosions but it's just way too hot to double layer, right?

I always used to do s/s vest with a pair of shorts at that age, or just a vest

A vest or similar is generally enough

Just a vest is fine when out and about. Just remember to pack warmer stuff for nighttime if the air conditioning is running. Our DD almost froze the first night of our holiday as the AC was too efficient!

My baby wears a short sleeved vest with shorts in very hot weather. Just a nappy or nappy and sleeveless vest overnight.
