I didn't start my first on a routine until he was about near 2 months old and that was only after reading the baby whisperer.. now with LO2 i am not sure when to start her on a routine, she's only a month old and her nap times are still very erratic ... the only consistency is her feeding, she feeds usually every 3-4 hours and try to give her a bath after her feed...which is usually between 5-7pm but would prefer to give her bath first then milk, but the times always works out too early to give her a bath, is it too early days now??? Shall i just let things go with the flow until she's abit older, say six weeks old???

Hi, I used to do a split feed at this time, so would give half the bottle before bath and the other half after. In the early days when I was bf I would give her one boob and then she got the other after bath......

well my dd2 has just fallen into her routine really.
when i goto about 6 weeks i stated same routine with her as dd1 bath-bottle then bed at 7.

she has just fell into that and goes to bed wide awake she's ever so good. like you dd was feeding every 3hr but tend to goto 10pm after 7pm feed

i think it helps that you are bit more knowing with the 2nd. i have not had the whole colic thing this time and i am sure its because i know how to deal with things better etc

good luck and congrats!!
