Cow and gate - constipation

Has anyone had any issues with cow and gate formula and constipation?

My 5 week old is on cow and gate hungry milk and keeps getting blocked up. Don't know if it's because of the formula or if it's normal for a baby of this age?

I think it can happen with the hungry milk. Have you tried the regular first milk or a bottle of ready made used to help DS.

It’s probably the hungry baby milk. It isn’t advised by medical professionals.

Hungry milk isn’t needed, just switch back to normal stage one.

My 7 week old is on cow and gate comfort for colic and constipation after being on Mamia as he was screaming in pain with his tummy most days. It gave it 2 weeks as it can take that long for their system to get used to new formula and literally just under 2 weeks in he had 4 dirty nappies in a row, must have been a huge back log the poor thing. Now has a normal dirty nappy every day or so and is so much happier. No more hard poos!

Its still a bit thicker than normal formula if you think your LO needs something a bit more rich
