Can I give my 4MO water?

Just that really. Slightly worried about the heatwave over the next few days and wondering if I can give my baby water? I'm sure I read that you can as long as it's cooled boiling water.

She's not breastfed, so not sure if that's worth noting.

You can, but if I were you I'd just offer feeds more frequently.

This might sound daft, but can it upset their little tummy's is that why it's advised to wait until 6months +?

They just need milk under 6 months 😀

Yes, if bottle fed, no if breastfed. Obviously not instead of any milk feeds and you shouldn't water down feeds either, just offer some cooled boiled water between feeds.

Yes for bottle fed babies. I used to have a small bottle of water ready. You use boiled water and leave to cool. We were advised to offer it between feeds on hot days so I always made one up on hot days.
