Anyone else anxious about baby overheating in this upcoming weather? Monday is meant to be 34 where I am. I know babies survive in hotter climates but surely they’re more acclimatised. My baby is 8 wks. Just invested in an air con unit as my house is boiling so hopefully it works.

We have 2 fans that circulate during the day in the lounge. I am considering buying another one today as it is very hot and I feel sorry for my baby and my other children who are getting very hot and sometimes just 2 fans isnt enough!!!

My first was born during a very hot summer with 30+ temps at times. It was horrible. Are you BF? If so, that'll help your baby regulate temp especially if you feed in just nappy for some skin to skin contact. I think with an air con until you'll be fine though.

It was similar when I had my first LO. Like others have said, leaving them in just a nappy and having a fan on will be fine. If you're BFing make sure they have a feed whenever they want and if you're FFing consider adding an extra ounce of water to a bottle.

What ever you do do not add extra water to formula that is terrible advice! You can offer cooled boiled water in a separate bottle 🙄

The cartons used to say that you can add an extra floz, not sure if they stilll do.
