Walking outside in 37 degree weather….

When it’s meant to be 37 degrees next week my 2yo usually sees one of his grandparents and they spend the day on buses and walking a lot to and from different places as they don’t drive and they do their normal errands which is great, my 2yo walks most of the day out of choice and that’s what they’re used to.

I don’t want to tell grandparent not to go out as they’re a busy working person who needs to get errands done and spending all day in small house with toddler would be awful, but I’m conscious of my 2yo being outside in 37 degree heat most of the day and probably wanting to walk too. I’ve offered to book the day off work so me and toddler can head to shopping center with a/c for the day and grandparent can have toddler for the day later on in the week when it’s cooler.

good idea or ott?

Doubt the grandparent will want to be dealing with a 2yr old in that heat, I reckon theyll plan to stay home instead.

Tell them to stay home. 37c is dangerously hot.
