8month old not tolerating heat well, or something else?

We took 8mo down to Devon last week for a 4 day holiday. It was around 20-22 degrees most days, so we kept him well sheltered from sun and lightly dressed. He runs very hot so we know he does not like the hot weather. Since then he has also had a runny tummy doing 3/4 bad poos a day and it's given him a sore bum.
It has carried on this week along with poor and broken sleep, blocked snuffly nose and on off high temps.

I have tinfoil on his window, keep it shut during the day and we run a fan all night but it's still been 28-30degrees in his room. We are dressing him either in just a nappy or a thin 0.5tog sleep bag.

I'm not sure what else we can do. Does it sound like heat or maybe a tummy bug?

Could be covid? My DD just had it and had high temps, coughing and sneezing and was fatigued but also had vomiting and a nappy rash.

Teething? Mine always had bad nappies and sore bums teething and temps quite normal with it to

i was going to say teething- the nappies with teething were horrendous, that’s the only time my children had nappy rash

Ahh I think his top two teeth might be coming in too. I can see white under the surface. Maybe it's that!
