How often shall i give my 3 month old water in this 30 degeee heat. Midwives said they shouldnt have water untill 6 months ..?

As long as they are drinking enough milk they don't need water at that age AFAIK. Just offer breast/bottle more often than you normally would.

DD is 4m and has been on the breast every 40min since the heat started. I don't think they need water at all unless they're looking very dehydrated, in which case you should seek medical advice.

Breastfed babies don't need water till 6 months even in heat. Just offer more feeds.

Formula fed babies do need water (cooled boiled water if under 6 months) in hot weather. Maybe check the NHS or Babycentre website for amount and frequency.
