Chicken pox? Flea bites? Bed bugs? Mosquitos?

What do these spots look like to you? Dd 2 has a small cluster on the back of her arm and then about 6-7 just random one off spots on foot leg and another smaller cluster on neck.

They are small raised raised pink bumps. They don’t seem to be bothering her - she’s not itching.

That looks like the start of psoriasis that ds had. Input lots of aveeno intense on it and it went away.

Not chicken pox. How old is she? A pharmacist should be able to help but not if she is very young.

KangarooKenny · 08/07/2022 08:07

Has she been unwell recently ?

@Haggisfish3 Thank you! I actually have psoriasis myself and it seems different to that. Definitely seems like a bite of some sort.

@Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas shes 2. Perhaps will try pharmacist today.

@KangarooKenny Yes she had croup last week. Do you think perhaps post viral?

No, I’m more leaning towards chicken pox, seas she’s been unwell.

My DS had chickenpox at 5 months. And 3 🙄 they usually start on the torso, though.

Now these look like they could be chicken pox

Yodaisawally · 08/07/2022 08:25

The face ones look more like chicken pox

dementedpixie · 08/07/2022 08:35

Looks almost shingles like or fungal (the arm ones)

JuneOsborne · 08/07/2022 08:37

The arm ones look like a heat rash. The gave ones more like CP.

How is she in herself?

Youweremybrotheranakin · 08/07/2022 09:03

@dementedpixie you know I had shingles at 11 and that arm rash really reminded me of my shingles rash. I didn’t think toddlers could get it though?

@JuneOsborne she’s fine in herself. No fever or runny nose or anything.

Could be hives due to an allergy.
Or alternatively a heat rash. Try antihistamine syrup.
Ds2 here had really bad hives & psoriasis on his face & arm. We attributed it to a drug allergy & bed bugs.
It took months to realise it was an egg allergy.

sunflowerandivy · 08/07/2022 09:12

It really looks like chickenpox in her face photo. If it is she'll have more spots as day goes on

Anyone that's had chickenpox can get shingles. My ds had CP at 5½ months and shingles age 3
