Any child that had no interest in a scooter?

Just like the title, have you ever had a child who was never ever interested in a scooter? Ds just turned 3 and generally likes to take a go at things when he sees other kids doing it. He has had 2 scooters since 2. 1st scooter he strolled around the house a bit then he never looked at it despite taking him out many times as he was more interested in running around and the 2nd scooter was bought for his birthday last weekend and he seems to enjoy sitting on the seat than actually scooting along. The 2nd scooter is much better with its wheels etc and much more flexible. I see my friends kids who were confidently scooting about since aged 2 but ds has never been interested in it and now I see a couple of his little nursery mates riding small bikes without stabilisers and just wondering if I should be worried.

My DS had no interest in his balance bike/bike, scooter or any wheeled things really when he was little. He is 15 now, loves to skateboard, rides a bike to get places - and is super active generally. He just didn’t like it much when he was little, came to it in his own time.

Thank you for responding @Whatabouterry yea I don't think my ds is interested either tbh. I guess because we see so many toddlers, preschoolers using scooters it's just kind of made me feel like it's expected that they must have an interest. He has never been the type to be content in his walker either, he was happy to commando crawl/crawl on all 4s than sit in it.

Yes my ds has no interest and never has really. He is very good at it but he much prefers a bike so we don't bother with the scooter any more. To be honest I have never used a scooter before so I don't care. My dd loves hers but refuses to learn to ride a bike!
