DS 8.5 months old, bottle fed since birth but still no period? ;(

Hi

I've had no period and my little boy is almost 8.5 months old. Exclusively bottle fed since birth. Everything I've read says I should have had it by now.

Ive also taken 2 pregnancy tests and they are negative and we're using protection so its not another pregnancy.

Worried but getting to see a doctor is proving ridiculous. Anybody gone through this ? (Not interested in breast feeding no offense as doesn't apply to me)

I would persist with your GP. Speak to your HV as well.

I didn't either, I think it was near a year before I did.

Yes from 6 weeks.

They're referring me to the gynaecology as I did have a blood / hormone test and all normal so they don't know what to suggest. But this was months ago so I don't know whats going on atm.

Just worried as we're desperate to have DC2. :(

I didn't find it worrying tbh,just thought it was my body settling down after giving birth.

So you were normal then, I was more on about if anyone had the same as me.

I expressed for 6 weeks then bottle fed.

Has anyone else waited really long after bottle feeding? :(
